Welcome to the Daingerfield, Texas Chamber of Commerce, Web site.
Daingerfield is located in the Northeastern part of Texas in Morris county.
We are the fourth oldest town in Texas and the oldest in Morris County!
Daingerfield offers many great attractions. The Daingerfield State Park is a
wonderful place that includes a lake and is deep in the beautiful piney woods.
It is a pleasant place to camp, fish, swim, and picnic. Another one of
Daingerfield's great attractions is during the fall we have Captain
Daingerfield Days during which we have many activities such as
cook-offs, street dance, carnival, parade, 5-K run, and much more.
This is a festivity to remember Captain London Daingerfield, for whom
town was said to be named after. Also, during the holidays there are
more fun festivities to participate in. As well as the fun activities,
Daingerfield has a 99 cent movie theatre, The Morris Twin Cinema!
It is very rare that you find such a town like this.
